Nearby things to see and do!

Across the road from the park there is a walking track that starts at Raspins Beach and travels along beside the Prosser River. This well maintained path continues across the Prosser River through Orford past shops past public toilet facilities and a great park for the kids. It then continues along the entire foreshore all the way to the magnificent Spring Beach. This walking path is lovely and safe for children to travel on away from roads.

Orford is within walking distance and offers a well stocked IGA supermarket, Newsagency Gateway Café, Scorchers pizza and restaurant, the Blue Waters Hotel and Orford Roadhouse for takeaways.

Triabunna a small fishing town is a 5 minute drive away. Triabunna has a well stocked IGA, butcher shop, Chemist, Service Tasmania, Spring Bay Hotel and the best fresh fish and chips at the Triabunna Fish Van on the Wharf. It is from Triabunna that the Maria photoIsland ferries run year round taking passengers across to the Historic Island which is a must see when in the area.

Both Orford and Triabunna have excellent all weather boat ramp facilities to access the coastline and its range of fishing, diving and other water pursuits. .
